About Lexia

A designer's eye,
a planner's calm

I began in 2010 as a cake artist, sculpting sugar flowers by hand. Couples kept asking me to shape the rest of the day too — so by 2018 I had grown into full wedding design and planning across Mauritius and beyond.

Today I lead a small team of ten. Most of the couples I work with are planning from another country, which means the details matter even more: trusted vendors, a clear timeline and budget, and someone on the ground who answers quickly and keeps the day on track.

You have one creative lead from the first conversation to the final dance — and on the day itself, a calm team so you can simply be present.

Destination Weddings

Beach ceremonies, villa celebrations, marquees by the sea

Based in Mauritius and available worldwide. Whether it's a barefoot ceremony on white sand, a private villa weekend, or a candlelit marquee reception facing the water — the celebration is designed around the place, the season, and the way you want the day to feel.

For overseas couples, that includes venue scouting, guest accommodation guidance, and the on-island coordination that's hard to manage from afar.

Signature Cakes

Sculptural cakes, finished by hand

Where the studio began. Each cake is built to its own design and finished with sugar flowers shaped petal by petal — a sculptural centrepiece that tastes as considered as it looks.

Available as part of full design, or commissioned on its own for your celebration.

Good to know

Do you help couples planning from overseas?

Most of our couples are. We're used to time-zone-friendly calls, sourcing and vetting local vendors on your behalf, and being the responsive point of contact on the island so you're never planning blind from abroad.

Can you work with our resort or venue team?

Yes. We regularly collaborate with resort and villa coordinators — we handle the design, styling, and overall direction while keeping everything aligned with your venue's own team and requirements.

Do you handle guest logistics?

For full planning, yes — accommodation guidance, transport, welcome moments, and multi-day timelines so guests travelling to Mauritius feel looked after from arrival to departure.

Do you offer cakes separately?

Absolutely. Our signature sugar-flower cakes can be commissioned on their own, even if we're not planning the rest of your day.

When should we enquire for a 2026 or 2027 wedding?

As early as you can. We take a limited number of weddings each season; for full planning, 9–12 months ahead is ideal, and prime dates are often reserved further out. We're currently booking 2026–2027.

Can we use our own vendors?

Of course. We're glad to work with vendors you already love and fill any gaps from our trusted island network.
